The award honors the efforts of individuals, businesses and organizations for their preservation of historic structures. In 2017, Smith and his wife, Kimberly, purchased a 130-year-old home at 423 Themis St. and turned it into his architectural firm’s offices."

New Catholic Campus Ministry Chapel on Campus at Southeast Missouri State University

Construction of a new Catholic Campus Ministry Chapel is underway on Southeast Mo State University Campus in Cape Girardeau.

The project is expected to be completed in 2021.
